That's what's in my tranny now Karl. The local shop I use are racers and use it in all their applications, so they use it in all their customer's tranny's. Interesting that it's called Synchromax. It's hard for me to tell a significant difference between this and Redline. I only noticed the huge jump in ease of shift, quieter engine, when I first switched to Redline in the auto tranny of my '91 Westy. Then went to Syn in the engine. So, what I can say is that I still get easier shifts on very cold mornings during winter. Although I don't have it in now, I've also used their engine oil products. Have a new subie that will need at least 5K on it before I switch to Syn. I've used their 5W40 engine oil before with 5-7K mi. change intervals. I seem to always change the tranny lube every 2 years, in the late fall. IMNSHO, you will not be sorry you are using RP.
