I can already give good comparison based on dry and wet pavement. It is just snow/ice comparison that I don't yet have. I know the Vredestein's are quieter on dry/wet roads, and that the Vredesteins have great snow capability. The Nokians are advertised as all season, while the Vredestein's are not (Winter Comtracs). The Vredesteins also have a softer compound than the Nokians (which may account for the greater noise factor, as well as the all season capability of the Nokians).

Last winter the Winter Comtracs were on the SilverBeast, so when it is functional again, I'll be comparing the tires on the same vehicle (different SIZE, however.)
