So After cutting about a dozen holes in fellow list member Ken's Wilfords parts van I'm about ready to run the AC lines in my adventurewagen.

Can anyone on the list tell me if the metal ends need to be crimped on before or can I do it afterwards. It would be WAY easier for me to have them put on afterwards but I just wanted to see if anyone on the list has first hand experience. Note 2 of my lines will be in the B pillar so space is tight. I spoke with one local auto parts store that said they only had the ablity to do it on a bench but that I should try calling a place that works on big rigs or AC trucks. I'm currently looking into that.

thanks

JFF
