Have you ever had a cheap meter blow up, or are you cooking red
herring?


I've got a Fluke 87. I keep a $10 meter in the bus. It's all that's
needed for automotive use. The only time I've felt a need to use the
Fluke was when adjusting the Westy battery level LED panel, where I
wanted the known accuracy.
