Subject: 86 weekender interior for sale in Oakland, CA
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed"

I was at the Oakland Pick N Pull today.

They have a reasonably fresh 84 hardtop Vanagon in the lot.

The PO installed what appears to be a complete genuine Westfalia interior from an 86 Weekender. All the bits seem to be there except the foamy over the engine cover & the large cupboard door in the rear cabinet is buggered up, you might be able to repair it and or find one for sale somewhere since it's easy to ship. Van even has genuine Westfalia curtains.

Would hate to see this stuff get crushed, and I have no time to pull and no place to store it.

The seat upholstery needs to be redone (all 86 weekenders had crappy upholstery) but still might be worth getting if you like this configuration and are close to Oakland.

No idea how they would price it, best to speak to the sales window before you pull everything.

If you pull on Wednesday prices are 25% off.

The van also has 1.9 engine and manual tranny, no idea if they are any good.
