sorry to hear that ron.. good thing it didnt hit your house tho.. definately sad, but the westy is replaceable.. lives arent, and id rather have my car smushed than a huge hole in my house roof in the middle of winter.. might be time to get the chainsaw out and clear your yard, at least the dead trees....huge trees like that so close to a house is scary..

my aunt in GA had a mature oak come down on her house in a hurricane, after that she cleared her whole yard.. living in the woods is nice, but its a risk you gotta take i guess.

for those of you not in the know, we had a really bad ice storm here in SE PA (3" ice) sunday, which was followed by 45+ mph winds sun nite... power was out at my house sun nite for 4 hours, with outside temps in the low 20's...driveway is a sheet of ice, cant even shovel or plow it.

as for tips dealing with the insurance, im sure you know all the places to look ... good luck tho..and you can prolly buy it back for dirt cheap and part it out..

chris
