Actually trees falling on things are extremely unlikely. I have/had a giant Oak in my back yard that leaned over my home and vanagons for years. After several people and neighbors complained about it, I looked in to my liability. My Insurance co. stated ..... "let it fall". They stated that the only real problem would be "if the tree's environment was changed in anyway". Then who ever changed it would be the responsible party.
