The price of fuel definitely affects all those traveling and RV's are getting hit especially hard. At $3.00/gallon the average motor home costs $.30/mile just for fuel. Flying, hotel and rental car is suddenly a deal.

This year in the desert southwest there are noticably fewer motorhomes, trailers and vans out traveling..There are more European travelers, some in those big Dakar type trucks...Unimog, etc..Must be very economical for them to come over and use one Euro to buy three US dollars worth of whatever...I wonder how many dollars a coke or an espresso costs in Europe right now? Gotta love our gov. and certainly I do believe em when they say "the US economy is in fine shape"...Uh huh. Don Hanson
