I finally finished replacing most of the FI hoses in the engine compartment, new
protective sleeve, new firewall fitting ( I know, I should have bypassed it, but it
came in the kit), everything except the return hose from the FPR.
Now the moment of truth. I need to start it up and check for leaks, which will be
easier on the right side without the air cleaner assembly in the way. Will it start
and run for a short time without that??

Thanks for the replies to my previous question about pressure on the fuel
return-to-tank side. I don't want to spend anymore time on this right now. And all of
the hoses actually were in good shape, none of the cracking, crumbling, etc. that Ben
refers to.
