What I have is ETKA 7 which is not restricted to the 1280x1024 resolution
like the earlier ETKA 5 and 6 have.


Graphics show up in ETKA 7,
it is just the illustrations that appear as black or black with random
colored dots in it.  All catalogs do that - VW / Audi / Seat /
Skoda


Taking my older XP laptop and dropping the resolution
down to what my current one is results in perfectly working illustrations
in both 16 and 32 bit color depths...


Sigh...
