Hum... Can't we dream a little? You know, fun dreaming? :-))))))) I know there is some german web sites with porsche engine and transmissions out there, just can't find them at this moment. So I though that maybe, just maybe someone had done a porsche automatic transmission conversion and I wanted to know more about it... Would I do it? If I have the funds, why not. But if its way too costly, well now I will know better! I have seen the 911 porsche auto trans between 1500$ to 3500$ on ebay. I just don't know which year would fit, if it does fit anyway. The bigger 3rd gear for an auto trans vanagon is 1200$ in parts only... hum... the porsche option looks tempting... Pedro 1991 vanagon westfalia conversion 1989 syncro "rustbucket" |
