In actuality ALL cars (makes and models) are at risk of interior or engine fires. If you ever get to see a junkyard, or worse a auto auction or haulers lot, then you'll know that all kinds of cars burn.. And many w/o provocation. We're just 'in tune' to our VW community. Now go out and CHANGE YOUR FUEL LINES, inspect any and all wires and hoses for chaffing. And clean your electrical connections, including battery to starter.
