All right, all right. You owe me now dude. I jacked up an 86 Syncro Westy ( with subaru 2.2 engine conversion I did, and it's for sale btw ) and that line goes in a curve over the frame rail to a junction right on the inside of the frame, and the line is about 4 inches long. Your leak could be anywhere in the front system though. how come your so sure it's left front ? fluid coming out in that area that you can see I would imagine. But if it's that line, it's not gonna be much fun at all. I'd drop the spare tire carrier thing out of there, maybe remove the 02 counter box if you have one .....it's kinda jammed up in there, but the first line from the LF brake hose to the junction just inboard of there looks to be about 4 inches long, and curved. If you reach over the frame rail there you can feel the T junction. Scott www.turbovans.com

Anyone stab a guess to what length I need on front left syncro? Seems to be a conflict here with the availability of the metric bubble flare on FLAPS in all sizes...

If someone could guess some sizes I can do some reseach on many FLAPs sites.

Additionally, do we recommend the stainless flex lines be replaced all around for the rubber ones?
