actually it's not a dumb question some people assume they know the answer and do it... like the leaf blower superchargers and the ebay electric supercharger kits(which do work BTW which is how they are still selling, in addition to the electric blower which does nothing but distract you like any good illusion, the higher flow cone filter and removal of the stock airbox is where the actual gains are made.. fascinating what people will fall for and buy)

but unfortunately no, a small fan won't do you any good... they do help keep computers cool though.
