You did not mention why you need 115V AC in your van. If your need of AC is light use of AC electricity you can set up a 2ndary battery under driver's seat and hook up an AC converter to get AC from the converter.

I bought a 120 watt converter (convert from 12V DC to 115V sine waved AC) before Christmas for $15. It is able to power 90watt continuously. You can buy bigger converter if you need but it may drain the battery too fast to be practical. I will use my 120 watt converter to power fluorescent light in my Westy. I can power several of them with one converter.
