If I were doing this, I'd look into one of those retractable cords designed
for garage usage. Mount behind the license plate, or somewhere underneath
the van, and you wouldn't even need to have an extension cord with you--just
reel out the cord and plug her in!

You might even be able to do this with a hole cut in the floor beneath the
rear seat and a large grommet to pull the cord through.
