For the record, I don't work on other cars any more, Fast Forward is
dead, so it isn't that that made me money. Fast Forward made enough
money to equate working at McDonnalds and if anyone is thinking of
starting their own business dealing with VW parts, please think twice
about doing it if you want to make any money and have any time to
yourself.
So, yes, for my job as a computer technician at the
school district, does't pay enough to afford one of these either, nor does
my wife's job as a teacher. My wife's parents both died this summer
and we were left with some money of which my wife decided to get herself a
nice car for once in her life, pay off our line of credit and salt the
rest away in a retirement savings plan. So now we are debt free,
have something nice and will be looked after in a few years when we
retire. So easy come easy go for the money and I am very happy for
my loving wife who went through hell and back this summer and fall - she
deserves something nice.
