Ah, but how much of that is false savings? When Esurance terminated my Westy policy, I shopped just about every major company; State Farm, while on the lower end of the scale (Geico, Progressive, Nationwide higher by far), was still about 20% higher than what Safeco wrote the same policy limits for. State Farm still leaves a nasty taste for me anyway...when a mere young-un I had more than my share of speeding tickets, 2X eluding (yikes), etc. and I was banned from driving any family member's cars that were also insured under State Farm. Yes, that's fine, but they still have that stipulation on these policies 25 years later! YMMV.
