Wondering if anyone has gone to the trouble of getting an independent appraisal of their Westy or reg Vanagon.  I have an 85 Westy that we've put a bit of $$$ into, including the Gowesty 2.3 engine and want to minimize the chance of lowballing insurance companies should the unthinkable happen.  My insurance guy said I should get an independent appraisal... then they would cover the vehicle for that amount instead of the Bluebook value.Anyone have experience with doing this?  Recommendations on places to go?
