I've used both of these products: http://packmate.com/rollbag/index.html https://www.spacebag.com/spacebag/902303/

The Pack-Mate bags roll up to get the air out. Work great in the Westy for clothes, etc, best with down jackets, etc. that have a lot of space to compress. The Space Bags, some of the smaller ones can be rolled. And those that were intended for use with a vacuum cleaner can be rolled manually. I've been using them for four or five years now. BUT, they don't last forever. The Pack-Mate bags are a little thinner and can develop cracks/tears and the top zippers can come off and are hard if not impossible to get back on right. That makes sealing very difficult. I've thrown awy severa of them. And the big giant bags are of little use, at least for me. And the smallest has little or no need for compressing unless soring very small cloth items. All in all they are valuable for the way I pack. All my clean cloths go into them. The fact that they are transparent makes it easy to figure out what is inside without opening them, make great organizers that way. YMMV
