A distillate-guzzler... with poor handling. Wait for the breakdowns to begin...

No car with such a big engine is going to sip fuel, gas or diesel.. or propane. Even if you put an uncooked chicken egg on the fuel-pedal. The Cayenne apparently handles well; the Toareg doesn't; dunno about the Q7 yet.

For those who can't spell... Tou-A-reg. Not Toureg. The a is pronounced.

Don't forget the Audi Q7, which is the third of the platform triplet (though it doesn't share eny external panels with the other two, which share most of the same panels).

SUV... now THERE's an oxymoron. Where's the "sport" in a Frod Exploder or a Tchevy Blazes? Or a Mitsubishi Pajero or LandCruiser or Prado...

These vehicles are not competition for the T3. They're not in the same class. Hmmm... a 2008 Toyota diesel V8-powered Hiace widebody LWB (hi-roof comes with widebody LWB) 4WD Hiace... hmmm... now THAT would be competition for a T3 Syncro.

Anybody'd might guess that I'm not a fan of offroad/pseudooffroad 4WDs used onroad. Anybody'd be right.

"Exotic cars"... mine's exotic. It wasn't made here. It's a diesel Corolla, use-after date 1989. The word exotic means just this: "from somewhere else". No other meaning. No indication of high technology, mystique etc. -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin New Zealand Fossil preparator Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut ‚ Opinions stated are mine, not those of Otago University "There is water at the bottom of the ocean" - Talking Heads
