Yep, stock for stock (Touareg vs Syncro) it's certainly very capable. But I like to eat and sleep in my vehicle, have money in my wallet, and not worry about the myriad electronic gizmos and gadgets. Or that it'll get scratched or stolen. But yes, it's only MY opinion, and just because I don't salivate over the Touareg (or any SUV ever made, for that matter) makes me an ass I guess. Ha. ;-)
