I have not been following this thread so what I have to offer may already have been covered.

I had a no start situation with my 1.9 wbx. It had spark. (Verified by pulling a plug lead and attaching it to a new plug grounded to the block and spinning the starter. It had injector firing pulses verified with "noids" (test light that plugs into the injector connector.) The fuel pump was good verified by removing the output line at the pump, replacing with a piece of fuel line feeding a capture vessel and shorting across the pump relay (procedure is in bentley) and measuring volume over time of gasoline delivered.

Repeated the test at the engine end by removing the fuel delivery line at the pressure regulator. No volume here.

Solution??? Disconnect hose/fuel line at both ends and blow it out in both directions with an air line. (I used 120 psi)

Retest at the engine end for flow.

Mine turned out to be a plugged fuel line. YMMV

Good luck. On Dec 28, 2007, at 10:00 PM, Automatic digest processor wrote:
