<BTW....we were sunny and in the low 70's today.....after a grueling week when it rose only into the 40's a couple of days>
While that sounds nice, and I'm definitely NOT a fan of cold weather, I prefer to hit the boneyards in the winter months. Last time I went to my favorite yard in the summer, I popped open the sliding door of a bay window bus. First surprise was the door came off the track, second surprise seconds later was the swarm of yellow jackets who had taken up residence in the bus. I'm not fond of ticks or snakes, either. I was just out there yesterday, the only wildlife I disturbed was a rabbit-luckily not the one from "Monty Python & The Holy Grail". Jeff |
