Last week I drained 2 or 3 gallons of gas onto the trans when the return hose came loose from the plastic return pipe just on the other side of the firewall grommet. The factory crimp-on clamp was loose on the hose which had shrunk with age. I got lucky. No fire. Check your hoses and clamps!!!
