<Also the city water connector cracks at the fitting, leaks water down the wall and soaks the insulation. That's primarily what happened to mine. In fact, one time I had water flowing out from under the floor. Yikes.>
I had the same experience years ago, luckily not in a Westy, but a 1973 Starcraft Galaxy 8 pop up camper (ugly as hell, but huge inside and functional). The connection didn't just leak, it burst, and we were away from the camper at the time. As we were walking back to it, my wife noticed water pouring out from the door. Based on that experience, I have never, and will never, trust that connection on any camper. Jeff |
