When my 84 tranny broke down and while I was waiting for AAA tow truck to come a Sprinter stopped next to my Vanagon (because of the stop sign there). The noise of diesel engine immediately drew my attention. It was a Sprinter. It made me drool for quite a while. Somehow in California it is very rare. I have only seen it a couple of times in the past few years.
