I wasn't kidding, Chris! One time a rodent chewed open the line coming from the water tank. It wasn't the first time I've seen water pouring out the bottom of a Westy, it also happened to a friend's bus that she'd hooked up to city water. For that reason, I never connect to a faucet.

In my case, I believe it was the chewed line that lead to some inside surface rust along that bottom seam. I wireburshed and POR'd it, and will probably take a look again this spring if I can talk myself into yet another refrigerator checkout. <G>

And yeah- I have taken your advice. My fill ports have been sealed, and we've even swapped the front seats around.
