In California's Central Valley unfortunately Vanagons are also rare. Hardly ever see one; saw more over the holidays on I-5 than almost any other time.

Interestingly there are quite a few in Sacramento though. When I worked in Oakland, right next to Berkeley, Vanagons and busses had become rare sight, which is odd for that area.
