Hmm, my first set lasted 3 yrs because I clearcoated them with a spray can, and washed them down every salt day. I also took them off when I washed the car and did BEHIND them. I now have a powdercoating system (whoo-hoo!) and am going to clearcoat powdercoat my next set on my Bay. I am hoping the clearcoat will allow for even better life. Courtney
