Other side of the world, eh? You been sniffin them bearded clams again? Last time I looked SA was actually closer to you than LA not by much 6650 vs 7707 or so but still closer. You wanna catch dogs you gotta troll weiners in the right neighborhoods. Now what bits and chunks was it that you needed? LA is full of folks that will get you any part you want or a whole car for bargain rates. No, they don't come with VINs attached but hey, bargains are bargains. How's your barrio spanish? IIRC you're putting an eg33 into a vanagon/caravelle/t3 or somesuch and need some exotic 2006 F1 McLaren brakes, right? Most of the donor cars are long obsolete and you should be able to pick up spares an bargain basement prices, just give McLaren a call and ask to visit their scrap yard. Only a polite suggestion of course. Scrapyards over here are stripped clean in days. Local Kamchatka guy saw a new SVX in scrap yard in the late afternoon on day 1. Went back around 10AM on the next day...picked to the bones... So keep on herdin' them barnacles up the old milford trace/track and let us know how we can help you towards your vanagon nirvana.
