Yeah actually in 03 there were 5 engine options for the focus, 3 of them are zetec based, two aren't. I really doubt Dave will care in either case.. it isn't a TDI so it's "smeg", I think everyone knows and accepts this by now... we still love Dave! One of my favorite things is when people raise objections to our option, because I'll either explain myself, or if the objection isn't valid, just let it go... luckily the list is a little more savvy than to believe everything we read without explanation these days. If there was anything factually wrong with his statement, I'd step forward and offer a counterpoint, but he's entitled to his opinion about how his focus behaves, whatever the engine and his motives actually are. If you want to actually evaluate how the conversion, runs/drives... find somone to let you go for a ride.. they are becoming more common :) Jim Akiba
