I replaced my rear heater core, but now it has a very slow leak at the bottom hose to core connection. Before I replace the hose, I'd like to try replacing the clamp and perhaps use some sealant goop on the connection. So, any advice on clamps? Will any old FLAPS hose clamp work ok? And what about sealing goop? I saw a website that recommended permatex #2. Any thoughts? Thanks much. |
