On the topic of wheel alignments, I found a couple of references in the archives to a DIY wheel alignment procedure, but the links are all dead. Does this still exist, and is there a way to verify that the alignment is "close enough" to get to an alignment shop? I've replaced several front end components that would affect alignment, and though I tried to measure and get everything back the way it was, it would be nice to do a verification of some sort. Or if the wheels appear to be pointing straight ahead with the steering wheel centered is that good enough for that purpose? Allan -- 1991 Vanagon GL |
