It stands to reason that E-code lights meet ECE standards but I don't know if "ECE compliant" means they are necessarily "E-code." I ask because I have seen several vendor sites that describe a headlamp as "ECE compliant" but I don't know if that is the same as calling it "E-code." It seems from some other sources that I've found on the web that ECE compliant does in fact mean E-code.
