I took my 83 GL Diesel to the Ohio DMV to register it. They punched the vin into the computer, and I didn't pay much attention. After I got home, and read the registration card. It seems, I now own a "STATION WAGON"

For anyone who'd like to turn their Vanagon back into a Transporter, I have a couple of German "Transporter" rear emblems in stock. You'll have one of the only "Transporters" in the U.S. :-)
