Hm, our '04 Focus Wagon is both quiet and peppy. Sounds like something's wrong with your co. car.

If I had to do a conversion I'd defintely be considering the Bostig/Zetec. It's a fairly pricey kit but looks very well engineered and seems to include pretty much everything.
