The latest update on CA I posted on the samba...

Thanks for bustin my balls much appreaciated, I welded those 2 years and change ago... and I'd like to take the 5th. I don't have a problem with the wash in as I didn't really care about circles for aesthetics but heat control and purging were always a point of compromise... yeah and also, you can't see it but the mount didn't have a gusset either.. and guess what.. they break off eventually without one ha... but it's all been fixed:). They're really not that bad. It's all low carbon so I went for good penetration and sac'ed color, hence the greying. The tubing welds are still holding fine, just won't please any welding instructors.. now it's less of an issue too as the main exhaust is a single cut and weld(and the weld is much better).. the whole site is going to get blown away and replaced with current pics... now I really have motivation since my balls are sore ha. But others can do a better job, cheaper than I can, which is why we're outsourcing as much as we can to shops that happen to be mostly Michigan and Wisconsin.. those guys can do complete jobs for less than cost of materials around here... insanity. One of our machine shops also makes fixtures and parts for the OEMs. I'd still put up against anything else in vanagonland without a second thought. Where are your pics then?
