Hi Scott,

That's an old study. New methods have been developed to make ethanol
from corn and the original studies never considered that the waste
from fermentation can still be utilized as animal feed. In fact, the
waste product actually makes a better feed stock than the raw corn.
And this double utilization makes corn competitive as a fuel.

And when I tried to google "ethanol corn animal feed", to find that
info, the link above was 10th on the page. All of the previous 9
links were scaremongering that the use of corn in ethanol was going
to increase corn prices and make animal feed more expensive.

Will sugar cane grow in the midwest where all the farmers are?
