hey all,

well, its good to know that i am not the only one that ghetto rigs the my GL! i have tried a few different configurations... i have put my futon frame and mattress in, which is a fantastic pain in the butt getting every thing in and back out.. plus it doesnt leave as much room inside. i went surfing a month or two ago and i slept 3 fully grown men and a blue healer (no futon this time) in there relatively comfortable...we are all over 6ft tall too! (not the dog) one on the floor in the middle (no middle seat) the dog slept with me on the back deck and one on the bench seat...that trip almost cost me a 200$ ticket for sleeping over night in a parking lot at a day use area haha ...i talked my way out of it though... i have even considered designing a fold out contraption... just havent committed to it. i need curtains... but i wouldnt know where to begin on hanging them? i have just been tacking sheets up around the windows... works fine... dont match but what ever.. dont get me wrong guys i absolutely adore my GL already we had some good times... its just the "gadget envy" but i live in portland oregon i will find my dream rig eventually ... *sigh* ;) thanks for the stories you made me appreciate my "no frills" 84GL...i love you hop-along! Chad~
