<Hunting, Fishing, and yes, even watching Nascar, does not make one a "Red Neck" I am sure there are a few more categories you would add to your "childish idiot" list.

You have been added to mine!>

Fair enough, and I did NOT intend to offend anyone, and I apologize if I did. And I never actaully said these activities made them rednecks, but in this case, these guys are. I just don't believe a guy's "manliness" is based on what he drives. I would drive a Miata, a new Beetle, or a VW Cabriolet, all considered "chick" cars. What torqued me up about the original email was the "any real man" statement. FWIW, my previous cars include several Camaros, Mustangs, and one Corvette, all considered to be "manly" vehicles, I guess. But I'd rather have my Vanagon Westy now over those other cars. Jeff

PS- the guy with the F150 also has a BMW 3 series. One night at his hunt club lodge, one of his fellow hunting buddies left (drunk off his a**) and backed his pick up truck over the hood of the BMW-and took off)
