Michael,

Good move on the 91GL. I have two 88GL's - one is my daily driver, the
other is a project.

I have owned a 71 camper, and a 68 Loaf. After owning first an 85GL and
then my 88 GL's I simply cannot imagine going back to those early
vehicles. I know there is nostalgia in the old vans, but boy, they are
nothing compared to the newer Vanagons, And there is no comparison to
the comforts and ease of driving.

You done good, hanging onto the 91GL. And if your wife likes it - wow!
