Subject: Re: Fw: MSNBC.com Article: Tourists shun crime-hit Mexico beaches

I have to step in here and agree with Benny. You can find trouble anywhere, but I feel more likely to find it here in the USA. I've been all over Mexico (and below)and have never had a problem. Been all over the USA and, well, this is how I know. Get in that van and drive South! I've lived on a Mexican beach in my Dormobile, with wife and child (1 yr old) and more recently travelled (with my new bride) the same areas as Benny is travelling now. Never had any trouble, zero. Will I ever have any? Probably, but anywhere you go there's that potential. Mexico is a beautiful country full of beautiful people. Don't miss it! BTW, when we were there in 06, we didn't run into any USA citizens camping out, all Canadians. Not to say there weren't any, of course. This is what these vans are for, so go man go........the alternative just ain't living.

Miguel
