The taillight (plastic) has space for a rear foglight. However the bulb holder that ATTACHES to the plastic isn't set up for fog lights on the US Vanagons. The European taillights ARE different (it takes a good look to notice the details.) And so is the bulb holder.

I've speculated on taking some of my old taillight housings (plastic) cutting them open and equipping them with LED bulbs. A doable project, but I simply don't have the time to experiment.
