I'm in the process of putting in an auxiliary battery and separate fuse panel on my '87 Westy. I'll be using a Shurepower 1315 system to separate and charge the auxiliary battery from the alternator. I'm also adding a separate fuse panel for the auxiliary battery and will run all the inside lights, radio, Westy stuff, and extra 12V power sockets from it. My desire is to be able to use 120V shore power (when available) to run the 12V accessories from the auxiliary battery fuse panel, in lieu of running down the auxiliary battery when at camp. I'm guessing that someone has figured out a good way to do this. Any ideas? Thanks. :-) Dave O '87 Westy w/ 2002 Subaru EJ25 |
