Fortunately, I have never had the need to use a body shop for collision damage but have a friend with that need in the Roanoke, VA/New River Valley area. He has some collision damage to the sliding door that might involve the frame in that area as well. I can recommend a good body shop in general but would rather hear from someone who has had a favorable experience with a vanagon at a shop in the area. If he needs replacement body parts like the sliding door does anyone have any options other than the dealership for a new part? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
