Subject: its alright ....its alright ...its alright ...if you wanna get
down .... propane ... (apologies to eric c.)

attention wet & westie & vanagon...
propane is not CO2 ...
getting a CO2 alarm to warn of propane leaks is like using rubber doll in
place of a human ...
(no personal experience on that rubber doll bit--simply surmising)
actually any CO2 alarms i have seen available at regular home stores have
printed on the side of the package
NOT FOR RV OR TRAILER ...
but regarding sniffing out gas presence i do ave a small amount of
experience ...
get a propane tuned sniffer capable of warning of the presence of propane
install it correctly ... in the recommended spot ...
*NOT* the place you think it should go ...
look in RV or marine stores for this item ...
be safe ..good luck

There are two kinds of jobs in the world:
Picking up garbage and telling people things.
Successful people do both, with the same good attitude. (riw)
