I am converting an auto vanagon to a syncro and am trying to get the clutch pedal out of my syncro donor but cant get it to come loose. I removed the dash, unbolted the clutch master cylinder, and unbolted the brake booster. The Bentley only shows the lower portion of the pedal and the upper portion of the brake booster, not the middle part where they appear to be connected. Are there any other bolts that need to be removed? There doesn't seem to be an easy way to access the top of the clutch pedal. Does anyone have any advice?
