Hello, Why on earth would my starter make a grinding noise when the temp is below 20 deg? It is a starter for an automatic and is just shy oif a year old. I don't have any problems with it unless the temps drop real low and then it will make a grinding noise when I turn the key. Makes that sound a couiple of times and then starts up fine. It also seems to happen only after if has been sitting for the night. -- Thanks, Jeff '90 Carat (Grover) '86 (We call this one Parts) '85 GL (Preparing to move to a new Home) '78 Bus (Melissa) Patty's Bus |
