II think this particular drool-choked hillbilly (probably the wrong word,
probably should have said redneck, as I have nothing in particular against
hillbillies and I know that redneck is a subset of the larger group) would
have probably shot at anyone broken down by the side of the road. I didn't
mention that I was crossing over an interstate connector on a bicycle, and
this SOB roared and jabbed his brakes and tried his best to make me sorry
that I was on his road all the way across the connector. He wasn't a nice
guy, believe me. And he was only about 24. Imagine what about ten more years
of three-dollar gas is going to do to his already-thwarted personality.
Jim, who lives in a state of 40 percent perfectly pleasant, hardworking
country people, 40 percent perfectly pleasant, hardworking city people and
 and about five percent redneck morons and five percent urban morons, just
like about everywhere else.
